How to Find Your KuCoin UID

Summary

Your KuCoin UID appears when you open your profile on the website or in the app. We ask for it to check that your account was opened with our referral link.

What is a KuCoin UID?

Your UIDUIDYour user ID number on a crypto exchange.More in the glossary is the user ID number of your KuCoin account. KuCoin says it has at least eight digits.

You need your UID when you check your account with us. It is the only account detail we ask for.

Where is my UID on the KuCoin website?

These steps follow the KuCoin help center:

  1. Log in to the KuCoin website.
  2. Hover over your profile icon. Your UID appears.
  3. To see more, click the icon. This opens the "User Profile" page.

On the older version of the website, click the profile photo at the top right. This also opens the "User Profile" page.

Where is my UID in the KuCoin app?

  1. Make sure your KuCoin app is up to date. KuCoin asks iPhone users to update older versions.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Tap the profile icon at the top left. A menu opens and shows your UID.

To check your app version, KuCoin says to go to "Menu", then "Settings", then "Detection".

What we never ask for

We only ask for your UID. We never ask for your KuCoin password, 2FA codes or API keys.

Can I use my KuCoin UID on another exchange? No. Each exchange gives you its own UID. Pick the right exchange when you run the check.
