How it works
How RebateFX works
We explain how forex and crypto cash rebates work, who pays what, and how payouts reach your account.
The money
Where the money goes
One trade, followed from your account to your rebate.
- 1
You trade
You open and close trades with your broker, as usual.
Your spreads, swaps and execution stay the same.
- 2
The broker charges its fee
The broker takes its normal spread or commission on each trade.
Nothing is added to your account for using RebateFX.
- 3
The broker pays us
The broker pays RebateFX a partner commission for the traders we refer.
This comes from the broker's marketing budget, never from your balance.
- 4
Back to you
The broker pays part of that commission back to your own account.
We keep the rest. That is how we earn.

What you should know
The rebate mechanism
Brokers spend large marketing budgets acquiring traders. Through official partner programs, brokers share a portion of the trading fees they earn with partners who introduce active clients.
Under the broker's partner programme, part of that partner commission comes back to you as a cash rebate. The broker pays it to you; RebateFX never holds or sends money. Your trading costs stay the same.
Who pays what
You never pay any fee to RebateFX. Rebates are calculated directly from standard broker spreads and commissions.
On supported brokers like Exness, the broker credits your rebate directly into your trading balance. RebateFX never acts as an intermediary or custodian of your funds.
Why you might not receive a rebate
Under the broker's own rules, a rebate may not be paid in cases like these:
- Very small amounts may be rounded or not paid, per the broker's rules.
- Copy trading or social trading accounts are excluded under broker partner terms.
- Trades that break the broker's partner or trading rules may not earn a rebate, e.g. very short trades where the broker forbids them.
- Accounts registered under unapproved partner links or regional restrictions.
Existing accounts and partner changes
If you already trade with a supported broker, you do not need to register a brand-new identity. Most brokers support partner reassignment via live chat or an account transfer form.
Once approved, open a new sub-account under your existing profile and add it to RebateFX. We check that it is linked. The broker then pays rebates on its own schedule.
Questions new traders ask
Short answers to what people ask before they open an account.
What is a trading rebate?
Part of the fee you pay your broker comes back to you.
The broker pays it because you opened your account with our partner code.
Does it cost anything?
No. You pay the broker the same fees as anyone else.
The broker pays us a referral commission. You never pay us.
Is the spread higher through your link?
No. The broker sets the spread for your account type.
Opening through our link does not change it.
Who pays me, and where does the money go?
The broker pays you, into your account with the broker.
At Exness the rebate goes to the account you trade on by default. RebateFX never holds your money.
How often am I paid?
It depends on the broker. Exness can pay daily, weekly or monthly.
Each broker card shows what we know, next to Paid.
I already have an account. Can I still get a rebate?
Often yes. At Exness you ask support to change your partner, then open a new MT4 or MT5 account.
The old account does not count. Check your account first, and we show you the way.
Is my money safe with you?
We never hold your money. It stays with your broker.
We never message you first, unless you choose to turn on daily rebate messages in Settings. We never ask for your broker password, 2FA codes or a deposit.
Ready to get part of your fees back?
It takes a few minutes. Your spread and fees stay the same.
