Four US data releases are scheduled from Tuesday 3 to Friday 6 November 2026. The biggest is the October jobs report on Friday. There is no Fed or ECB policy meeting this week, but the Bank of England announces its decision on Thursday 5 November.
All schedules below were checked on the official calendars on 3 Nov 2026.
What is scheduled this week?
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) have four releases. BLS lists its times in Eastern Time.
| Day (2026) | Time (UTC) | Release | Agency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tue 3 Nov | 15:00 | Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey, September | BLS |
| Wed 4 Nov | 13:30 | US International Trade in Goods and Services, September | BEA |
| Thu 5 Nov | 13:30 | Productivity and Costs (preliminary), Q3 | BLS |
| Fri 6 Nov | 13:30 | Employment Situation, October | BLS |
BEA lists its release at "8:30 AM" without a time zone. We read it as Eastern Time, like the BLS times.
Why are the UTC times one hour later than last month?
US clocks went back on 1 November, so 8:30 a.m. in New York is now 13:30 UTC. Per NIST, US daylight saving time in 2026 ended "November 1 at 2 a.m.".
In October, 8:30 a.m. was 12:30 UTC, so check any alerts you set. Our market hours guide shows how the sessions moved.
Which central banks decide this week?
The Fed and the ECB do not meet this week. The Fed's FOMC met on 27–28 October, and its next meeting is on 8–9 December, per the Federal Reserve calendar.
The ECB's calendar shows its next monetary policy meeting on 16–17 December 2026.
The Bank of England does decide this week. Its Monetary Policy Summary and minutes are due on Thursday 5 November at 12pm UK time, per the Bank's page. The UK has been on GMT since its clocks went back on 25 October, per GOV.UK, so that is 12:00 UTC.
For euro area data this week, check the Eurostat release calendar directly. It did not load for us on 3 Nov, so we do not list its dates.
What can these releases mean for trading costs?
Spreads can widen around big scheduled releases, even in busy hours. CMC Markets notes that "major economic news announcements could cause the spread to widen".
A wider spread costs more on every lot. An extra 2 pips on 1 lot of EUR/USD is 20 USD, at 10 USD per pip. We do not predict how prices will move.
What should traders check before Friday?
Check your exposure and costs before the release, not during it:
- Note the release times in UTC, from the table above.
- Look at your broker's live spread just before you trade.
- Check your free margin with the margin calculator. Our margin guide explains margin level.
- Turn pips into money with the pip value calculator.
- See what a move would do to an open trade with the profit and loss calculator.

What else do traders ask about data weeks?
Will spreads always widen at a release? No. Check the live spread in your platform.
Does a busy news week change my rebate? No. A rebate follows your trades under the broker's partner terms. See How it works.
Where do the UTC times come from? From the BLS and BEA calendars, converted from Eastern Time to UTC. The Bank of England time comes from its own page, converted from UK time.
What is the short version?
Four US releases are due, with the October jobs report on Friday 6 Nov at 13:30 UTC. There is no Fed or ECB meeting this week, and the Bank of England announces on Thursday 5 Nov at 12:00 UTC. Check spreads and margin before release times, and keep UTC times up to date after the clock change.
